Built and run by exited founders.

For management teams
Thunder helps founder-led companies decide whether to raise debt, raise equity, recapitalize, sell, acquire, or keep building. Once the path is clear, we prepare and run the process through closing.
The Thunder difference
Thunder’s partners advise our clients from their firsthand operating and transaction experience after exiting their own companies. They’re supported by our banking, analytical, legal, and capital-markets team that supports the process behind them.

We'll tell you the truth, even when it's "don't raise yet" or "your valuation is wrong." We reset bad strategy before it costs you a year. We only win when you win.
DigiPeak got a $7.5M credit line after losing $25M of revenue. Lucky Robots closed a $3.5M pre-seed in about 30 days.
Institutional-grade process and access, with securities offered through Finalis Securities LLC (member FINRA/SIPC), across a network of 2K+ warm investor connections.
We're a multi-round partner, not a one-deal vendor. With TIE we secured the pre-seed, supported the seed, and introduced the investor who led the $10M Series A. $12.5M in total.
Track record
From $3.5M pre-seed rounds to $100M venture funds to $30M acquisitions and $7.5M credit lines, we design and execute capital strategies across stages.

The engagement
Do you fit the Thunder profile?
How we work
All three are real answers. We have talked founders out of raising, and out of selling, when the numbers said the outcome they wanted was on another path.
The bench
Thunder is connected to a community of thousands of founders who have already been through an exit. On any given deal we pull in the few who have done the specific thing you are about to do: sold to that acquirer, raised from that fund, survived that kind of diligence, cleaned up that kind of cap table.
The team
Six partners with four exits, £100M+ deployed, $200M+ in transaction value and two decades of M&A and capital-markets experience between them, backed by a banking, analytical, and legal bench.

Podcast
Jason Kirby interviews founders who've been through nine-figure outcomes: what they'd do again, and what they'd never do twice. Worth a listen before you talk to any banker.
Questions
US or UK tech and consumer businesses with a debt, equity, or M&A transaction ahead of them in the next 12–24 months. We're the strongest fit for companies past $5M in revenue that have raised institutional capital before, but revenue alone isn't a gate. The transaction has to be real.
Our compensation is meaningfully tied to completing a transaction, so our incentives sit with yours rather than with running a long process. We'll be explicit about fee structure before you commit to anything.
Securities are offered through Finalis Securities LLC, a member of FINRA/SIPC. Thunder and Finalis Securities LLC are separate, unaffiliated entities. That relationship is what lets us run institutional-grade transaction processes rather than making introductions and hoping.
That's the most useful conversation we have. Our Capital Blueprint maps what's actually available to you, who's likely to provide it, and what each path costs in dilution, control, and time. Sometimes the answer is to do nothing yet. With EBY it was to raise a quarter of what they'd planned, and that's why it closed.
It depends on what you're doing and how ready the business is. Lucky Robots closed a pre-seed in about 30 days; EBY closed equity and debt in about 45. An M&A process is usually measured in months, not weeks. We'll give you a realistic range up front rather than an optimistic one.
